This 380sqm luxury farmhouse, inspired by the classic Kiwi woolshed, sits on a ridge overlooking this beautiful harbour. Built on the site of a century-old woolshed, it shares the same size, form, and materials, such as corrugated iron and timber. Recessed openings, glass louvres, and classic sliding doors enhance its rustic charm. Durability was a priority, with galvanised corrugate and ply lining ensuring a weatherproof shell.

Inside, stylish birch ply linings and Terra Lana insulation provide high thermal performance. A concrete floor keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter, with in-slab heating on the ground floor. The four-bedroom home features a double-height void, a bridge with rimu river-wood balusters, and two 5m-high timber sliding doors for wind protection and shade.
